How we make money
Short version: employers pay to post jobs, and sponsors can pay for one clearly labelled newsletter slot. Nobody pays for rankings or results.

2. Newsletter sponsorship
One sponsor slot per issue of The Upgrade: R1 650 per issue (US$100 at $1 = R16.47). Always labelled Sponsored. Rate card and rules.
3. Affiliate links (not live yet)
We may later add a few referral links where they genuinely help, such as a money-transfer service on the salary pages or vetted solar installers on the home power pages. Each will be marked Affiliate link, none will sit inside a calculator result, and we'll list every partner here.
What we refuse
Car dealers and dealer groups, dealer-software companies, car brands, car finance, car insurance, crypto and trading. More on our independence page.
