Most of the information out there is a sales pitch. RandSwitch is the opposite: plain-English guides with honest numbers in rand, so you can decide for yourself.

What we don't do

We're for individuals looking for guidance. We don't sell or list vehicles, we're not a marketplace, and we don't take money from car dealers, car finance or car insurance companies.

How we make money

The guides are free. We earn from paid job posts on the jobs board and one clearly labelled sponsor slot in The Upgrade. Later we may add a few affiliate links (always labelled). Sponsors never change our numbers or rankings. Details: how we make money and independence.
