Terms of use
Version 1.0 · Effective 26 October 2026. One set of terms covers randswitch.com, jobs.randswitch.com and cars.randswitch.com. Important clauses that limit our liability or place risk on you are in bold, as the Consumer Protection Act requires.
1. Who we are
Who we are. RandSwitch, RandSwitch Jobs and RandSwitch Cars are trading names of EasyGov (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa (registration number 2024/365166/07), 6 Bournemouth Bend, Parklands, Cape Town, 7441 · chetty.sagie@gmail.com · 081 745 1306. These terms are between you and EasyGov (Pty) Ltd. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
2. What we do
We publish free information and comparisons about switching costs, jobs and cars in South Africa. We are not a travel agent, ticket seller, employer, recruitment agency, car dealer or financial adviser, and we are not a party to any deal you make with a third party you find through us.
3. How we make money (affiliate and sponsored disclosure)
Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Some listings or slots are paid and are labelled "Sponsored". Payment never changes how we rank or describe free listings. See how we make money.
4. Accuracy
We work to keep prices, dates, listings and other facts correct and show when and where we got them. They can change without notice and may contain errors. Always confirm with the provider before you pay or travel. Nothing on the site is financial, legal or professional advice.
5. Third-party sites and listings
We link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, prices or privacy practices. Job and car listings may be aggregated from other sources and credited to them. Report suspicious listings to chetty.sagie@gmail.com.
6. Your use of the site
Don't misuse the site: no unlawful, false, defamatory or abusive content, no scraping or overloading, no attempts to get around security. We may suspend access for misuse.
7. Content and trademarks
Our text, design and data belong to us or our licensors. Team, league, event, employer and brand names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them; we are not endorsed by or affiliated with them unless we say so.
8. Paid services (RandSwitch Jobs)
Prices in ZAR, payment by Paystack and refund rules are set out in the Job post terms and refund rules, which form part of these terms. Our supplier details are at jobs.randswitch.com/legal. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by your reliance on information on the site, by third-party products, services or listings, or by the site being unavailable. If we are liable to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or R500 if you paid us nothing). This does not limit liability for gross negligence or anything the law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Changes
We may update these terms and will show the date at the top. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Please contact us first at chetty.sagie@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any complaint. Otherwise, the Magistrate's Court of competent jurisdiction has jurisdiction. Consumers may also approach the National Consumer Commission or the relevant ombud.
